Capture shots of moving subjects that show the excitement and speed of the action or the movement of wind and water!

On this 5 hour workshop Ian will use plain language and plenty of practical to help you ‘Capture the Action’

  • You will learn how to select a suitable shutter speed to freeze movement for different subjects in action. (e.g. Children playing, pets, sports, birds in flight, etc)
  • You will learn how to show speed by ‘panning’ to get a sharp subject against a blurred background
  • You will learn how to use longer exposures to smooth out moving water
  • If time allows we will also try some creative techniques using longer shutter speeds. (e.g. ICM and ‘Ghosts’)

One of my favourite places in the world . I may have seen a few things in my time , spectacular buildings, coral reef and such but the lakes of England have a unique light and feel. I would happily spend my days here.

Great day out in the Ebikes. Nice trails for everyone to enjoy. The hire bikes some of our group had were well maintained and the staff were lovely. Happy to help and nothing was no problem 😁

£0.50 per 15 minutes to park!!! £16.00 for a cheeseburger, chips & a drink!!! There's signs everywhere telling walkers they're not allowed on most trails but cyclists are. I didn't see a single cyclist. A lot of the trees are diseased & fallen. The forest looks sick & I mean that in the unwell sense of the word. Your dog is likely to be shot unless it's on a leash (see photo). This place used to be nice but I wouldn't recommend going here any more. It's just a money grab & all the restrictions for walkers make it pointless.
